Hi Everyone – thanks for stopping by tonight. I hope you are all keeping well – big shout out to all of you in Victoria here in Australia. We really do feel for you guys, and I am crossing everything that the situation starts to turn around soon xx
Tonight is a very exciting Caseing the Catty challenge – as we are CASEing the front cover of the all new August – December Mini Catalogue….sometimes referred to as the holiday catalogue. Think Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving plus a huge array of items that can be used all year round. It’s a bumper catalogue, if you haven’t seen it you can click on the catalogue image down the right hand side of this page and instantly view the PDF version. Check it out, let me know your favs.

The catalogue cover has so many gorgeous things going on, it was hard to pick one, but in the end I chose the card front and centre, with the reindeer and sleigh. Since I am not quite ready to thrown myself completely in christmas, I gave it a fun non-chrimassy twist.

I have used the Cute Fruit stamp set, which is actually in the beginner brochure. I love this set, it’s 100% fun! There are even little stamps to give the fruit faces (which I haven’t used in this case). I’ve teamed the fruit with a piece of DSP from the Playing with Patterns DSP pack and some vellum on a Night of Navy card base. The ribbons I picked were the Bumblebee In-Colour ribbon and some white flax ribbon (retired). I finished it off by heat embossing the sentiment in white.

Quite a simple layout, but I love the bright colours against the neutral navy background.
