Welcome to my blog, dedicated to sharing some of the cards I have made when I manage to get some ‘me time’ to relax.

To start with, a bit about me. I am from Perth, Western Australia and I have lived here my whole life. My day job combines being mum to two little boys, and being a Control Systems Engineer at a major mining company here in Perth.

I started making cards in June 2017 as a way of extending the creative side of my brain since my work is more on the technical side. I wanted to try and learn something new and paper craft seemed like it would be productive, creative, relaxing and something I could do in the evenings once the kids were asleep. It has turned into something that I really enjoy doing, and I also enjoy crafting with the kids – a particular win win when it’s a rainy day here in Perth!

I find it relaxing to zone out, browse Pinterest and YouTube and try a new technique. In order to challenge myself and try some new things I participate in numerous design challenges so you will see lots of blog posts dedicated to these. I have even managed to pick up a few wins along the way.
