Paper Adventures Team Hop – Banners

Happy Friday Everyone! Welcome to the weekend – and to kick it off I am hoping with the gorgeous girls from the Paper Adventures team. And joining us this month as our Guest Designer is the fabulous and talented Melissa Gifford. Melissa is a fellow Perth demonstrator and in addition to being crazy talented she is also a friend of mine. Welcome Melissa and thanks for joining us.

Tonight’s theme is ‘Banners’, and the team has our together some awesome projects to share.

I picked a very simple layout and made two cards – both quite different looking. Just goes to show how much of an affect DSP can have on the feel of a card.

The first is made using products from the World of Good suite, although the ‘Adventure’ word die comes from the Sweet Silhouettes die set. I’ve cut it in copper foil to make it stand out.

The second card uses DSP from the Playing with Patterns pack, and the Cute Fruit stamp set. I seriously can’t get enough of this cute stamp set! I also added a mat in Magenta Madness that I embossed with the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder.

Next up in tonight’s hop is the lovely Sana – Click below to check out her project and then keep hopping around until you are back where you started.

  1. I love that these look so different even though they are basically the same layout! The first card has a very sophisticated feel and the second is just so bright and fun and celebratory. Both fabulous, as always! 🙂 Siobhan.

  3. Love the layout of your cards Shannon. Particularly loved the boldness of the ‘fruity’ one and that magenta madness.
