Hi everyone, today I have a really fun card to share with you. I created it with a tutorial from The Dimensionals – a talented bunch a fellow demos who put together a tutorial bundle each month. Check out their facebook page by clicking on the link above.
The card I have made using one of their tutorials, is called a Z Fold card, and I decided instead of making a pretty Peony card, I would make a fun kids card for one of my kids friends who has a birthday coming up.

For my card I have used a Just Jade card base and assorted papers from the Whale of A Time DSP Pack.
I don’t actually own the Whale Done bundle (Stamp Set and Punch) – but the DSP contains a few pages with images that are really easy to cut out, some will even punch out if you have the whale punch. The whale family on the front of the card are just fussy cut out from the paper, nice and easy cutting as far as fussy cutting go. And then on the inside….

On the inside I have added a fussy cut turtle, plus a Happy Happy Birthday sentiment that comes from the From All Of Us stamp set. I love this sentiment, the angled text is a lot of fun. The layered panels on the front and the inside come from the Hippo and Friends die set, this die set is exceptional value, in addition to including dies to cut out the fun images in the coordinating stamp set, it also contains three different ‘mini sets’ of layering label dies.
I hope you have enjoyed this fun Z Fold card, leave me a comment and let me know – I love reading the comments!
Love how you’ve used the DSP here, looks fantastic!
