CTC276 – The Annual Catalogue Animals

Hi everyone, and welcome to a super fun round of CASEing the Catty. This week we are CASEing any of the animals in the annual catalogue. I was very excited about this challenge…but then had so much trouble deciding!

As I was flicking through the catalogue looking at all the animals, I found this very cute gift tag on page 52 – complete with a zany zebra! I thought it was super cute, and it was a good reminder to use a die that I haven’t used as much as I had originally thought. This die was initially bundled with the Tags Tags Tags stamp set (shown in the middle below, still available to purchase), but in this years catalogue we have an additional coordinating stamp set called Celebration Of Tags (shown on the right below).

I decided to make some cute gift tags just to have on hand read to go, and the best thing in these are made with just scraps of DSP. For each of the tags I have die cut the white layer using the Trio Of Tags dies and then layered it onto a piece of DSP. I’ve embellished with Cocktails from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set and also the unicorn from the Hippo Happiness bundle. For the final one I used a toucan that I had cut out from some retired DSP.

These tags are really quick to put together, and you can use whatever you have on hand. The sentiment on each of them has been stamped onto a banner punched using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

I hope you have enjoyed these gift tags, It’s really a very useful die set to have on hand all year round, but especially for Christmas. You can churn out of a bunch of gift tags really fast.

There are so many fun Animals in this years catalogue, and remember you don’t need to make an animal card – just be inspired by one! Click below to check out our facebook page where you can upload your finished project.

Next up tonight is Tina, click below to check out her amazing work, then keep hopping around until you are back to where you started.

  1. Your tags look fabulous with the DSP background, Shannon. I do like the new coordinating stamp set that goes with these dies, a lot more.
