Nothing’s Better Than Cocktails

Hi everyone, welcome to the weekend! Its a gorgeous day here in Perth – no rain, blue skies and sunshine – although a little cold…especially in the mornings!

I’ve got a quick card to share today, and I am again featuring this month’s Bundle of the Month – the Nothing’s Better Than bundle. When you buy this bundle in the month of July 2020, in addition to your normal thank you gift I will also send you a card kit to get your started. Check out this previous post for all the details.

Back to today’s card – I have used a thick whisper white base, but I have covered the entire front panel with a piece of DSP from the World of Good DSP pack. I have layered a piece of vellum over the top of this.

The sentiment is heat embossed in gold onto a piece of Petal Pink card. I finished with a stamped and die cut cocktail.

Very quick and simple – when I am working with a particular stamp set I tend to stamp and die cut a bunch of the images and just have them sitting in a bowl on my desk. It makes putting together cards even quicker.

I hope you have enjoyed this card – tell me – are you a cocktails, coffee or cookies kind of person? To be fair these days I drink a lot more coffee than I do cocktails, but but an espresso martini combines the best of both worlds, especially with a square or dark chocolate on the side xx

  1. Fab card, I do love a cocktail. My hubby and I started a friday cocktail on Facebook and it’s become a real tradition. Even at home in the lockdown we have enjoyed them, anything to help identify one day from the next is helpful too! xx
