Last weekend I had some spare time so stamped a few pages of images to colour. The stamparatus is awesome for this. It allowed me to stamp a bunch of things at once. I stamped one side of the paper with photopolymer stamps and the other with red rubber stamps (this is because you need to use the foam pad for some extra height with the photopolymer.

I stamped everything in momento black ink as I was planning on using my blends to colour. And then I just coloured….no end game in mind, no particular purpose…just for the joy of colouring in!

And now for the fun part, deciding how to use this pile of coloured images!

Since I seem to have no ‘get well’ cards in my stash I started with those images. For all three cards I used the same basic elements – a stitched white shape to mount the image, a colourful mat, a birch background image and then sentiment stamped on coloured card and snipped out. The images and sentiments are all from the same set – “Back On Your Feet“, the “Birch Background” is one of our new background stamps (you will see this featured on lots of my upcoming projects…I am completely addicted to it!)

Im really pleased with how these turned out, bright and colourful and they will hopefully brighten someone’s day when they need it!
