It’s that time of year where we start to say goodbye to some of our favourite products, and today the Caseing the Catty Design crew want to inspire you with some of our favourite retiring bundles.

One of my favourite bundles (in fact favourite suites) has been The Sweetest Thing Bundle. This bundle is part of the How Sweet It Is suite of products and has the most beautiful DSP that is so bright and colourful. The bundle itself is a set of photopolymer stamps with a coordinating die set. The die set has dies that cut out the stamped images, but also additional dies that emboss and cut out small lollies – ridiculously cute! The dies also cut out some of the images in the DSP pack – they do it all!

For my card tonight I have made a double easel card. If you want to try this card style at home this is what you will need:
- A standard card base (1/4 an A4 sheet, I have used Melon Mambo)
- A piece of card measuring 10cm x 28cm, scored at 7 and 14cm on the long side (I have used Coastal Cabana)
- DSP cut to 9.75cm x 13.75cm
- 3 x DSP cut to 9.75cm x 6.75cm

For the actual card base, you just need to fold your sheet in half like normal, and add an inside panel in white (if you need it, I did as it’s hard to write on Melon Mambo card stock). For the coastal cabana layer, I burnished the score lines and then added the DSP. Two of the small pieces of DSP (and the larger one) go on the front of the cardstock, the other small one goes on the centre rectangle on the back of the card.
Embellish and decorate as you see fit. I embossed the lolly jars and the happy birthday sentiment in gold, and then cut out some of the lollies using the dies (these emboss too…so cute!). I also added a few extra of these lollies on the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed tonights card, and if you love this bundle and suite I suggest you jumping in to buy it now before it runs out. Remember everything retiring is strictly while stocks last!

I really hope you find the time to join in with us this week – no need to have a blog, just upload your pic to your facebook group (click the image below).
Next up tonight is the talented Michelle from the Adelaide Hills area. You will love her project so check it out!
