Hi everyone, and welcome to this week’s round of CASEing the Catty. This week we are again looking through the stunning Sale-A-Bration catalogue and looking for new ways to be inspired. The time to make the most of earning free products for Sale-A-Bration is fast running out, so I hope you make the most of it!

This week’s card is inspired by a couple of cards in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, as shown below. I loved the sponged / coloured image created using the By The Bay stamp set, but I also loved the wooden framed floral image.
Combining both of these I created a scenic card, that really could be used for many occasions. I coloured the image using aqua painters and ink, and then framed it using the wood textures DSP.

The sentiment comes from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set ‘Part of My Story’, it’s one of my favourite sentiments. I love what it says, but I also love the font.

Hope you like this week’s card, and I hope you consider joining in this week’s challenge. You don’t need a blog or anything fancy, just upload your card to our facebook page.
Next up in this week’s hop is Rebecca, and she has created something truly beautiful!

Absolutely gorgeous colouring, Shannon. This looks like a miniature watercolour painting (which it is, but you know what I mean!). What a fabulous project.

This is the perfect stamp set to use with a wooden frame. Very clever to combine the two elements, I love it.
