As it gets closer to christmas I like to have a stash of these small notecards on hand. They are handy for popping into a bunch of flowers, attaching to a bottle of wine or even using as a gift tag.
The layout for these cards is inspired by the front page of the current 2018 Holiday Catalogue, as I am playing along with this week’s CASEing the Catty challenge. I am CASEing the gift box in the top left hand corner of the front cover, only I have made it into 3″x3″ cards.
I used a combination of old and new christmas stamp sets, combining the Cookie Cutter Christmas set with the new Dashing Deer. All of the cards feature a real red card base, 3″ x 3″ in size (folded). I’ve layered up some gold thread, a whisper white stitched square and some vellum. I free-hand cut the stitched square and vellum to have a bit of a curve.
Santa and both reindeer are popped up on dimensionals, and all three cards have the same sentiment which has been heat embossed in either Gold or Red Glitter (retired).
These small cards are quick and easy to make and will never go astray as I head into the crazy end of the year.

They look good. Do you have a special one for attaching to , say, a birthday present around Christmas time?

Birthdays around Christmas get their own special cards – that definitely don’t feature a Christmas theme 🙂
