A set of four cards to share today, all featuring the beautiful Joyous Noel paper. A classic layout combined with the foil accents turns something simple into something special.
I saw this card featured on Patsy Waggoner’s website at ‘Stamps To Die For’ – you can see it here. I thought it was beautiful and had to recreate it.
The cards are all standard sized bases is thick whisper white. I’ve then added a layer of DSP. In the joyous Noel DSP pack every piece has foiling on one side and ‘plain’ (as in non-foiled) on the other.
On a piece of regular whisper white (10.5cm x 7cm) I’ve stamped the sentiment from Dashing Deer in either tranquil tide, merry merlot or soft suede. Likewise for the deers, which I have for cut out and popped up on dimensionals.
I finished my adding a mat of either card or copper foil – whichever I thought looked better. To embellish it I have used a couple of different ribbons including the the gold cord, Copper tea room ribbon and the Shaded Spruce metallic ribbon.
