Santa’s Workshop

I received some brand new speciality paper in the mail on Friday and I could not wait to put it to use.

The layout for this card came from this week’s CASEing the Catty challenge. It was all about the Graceful Glass suite, but it also included the section ‘Share What You Love’. I CASEd the layout from the mint macaron square card in the centre of page 176 (shown below)

I used a Poppy Parade card base and embossed the background. The featured Santa image is cut directly from the Santa’s Workshop DSP. This paper is amazing, all the white sections on the paper are actually flocked (raised and fuzzy). I used a strip of DSP from another set called All Is Bright and the sentiment comes from the new Dashing Deer stamp set.

The garden green ribbon is actually a bit of left over ribbon from the Sincerely Santa project kit (this is a kit that makes 30 gift tags, I’ll share those later this week).

I finished it off by adding a little silver metallic thread, I love this stuff and use it a lot. In fact only tonight did I notice that you can now order Rose coloured metallic thread, I’ll be adding that to my next order.
