Tonight’s project is something I made for my sister’s birthday. Her birthday isn’t actually until Thursday – but since Australia Post was efficient (who knew a 50c priority stamp actually made a difference??) she has already got it, so I can share it with you all now.
The box was not designed by me, but was made from a tutorial I purchased from Bronwyn Eastley over at AddInktive Designs.
I used a combination of Poppy Parade and Melon Mambo for the flowers, with Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green being used for the leaves.
The card actually folds flat so that you are able to post it. I did have to make a custom envelope for it to fit nicely, but it wasn’t overly bulky or anything. To make the envelope just measure what size you flat folded card is and use the envelope punch board to make it. Every card will be slightly different depending on how you arrange your flowers and leaves.
I was really happy with how this card turned out, and my sister really liked it to.
