I have got another sneak peak from the upcoming Holiday catalogue tonight. The catalogue goes live to customers from early September, if you need one sing out and I’ll pop one in the mail (Aussies only!).

Tonights card uses a stamp set from the new holiday catalogue that is designed to be used on gift tags. The stamp set coordinates with a brand new kit which creates 30 tags – it is absolutely gorgeous, more on that one later. However, there are only so many gift tags you need so I like to know I can use the stamp set elsewhere.

The stamp set is called Sincerely Santa and consists mostly of sentiments. I have combined it with some dies from another new bundle called the Dashing Deer bundle. the die set alone in this bundle makes it more than worth it!

The layout for tonight’s card is inspired by this week’s Global Design Challenge, we are CASEing the talented Janneke de Jong from the Netherlands.

I kept the layout very similar but instead I used a square as the central focal point. The card base is Cherry Cobbler and I have combined it with gold foil and Very Vanilla.

The flourishes behind the sentiment are dies from the Detailed Deer framelits, you actually get two of these in the set which makes it quicker to cut out in bulk. The small deer is also from this set.

This card actually came together really fast, the layout was decided and then the dies and the gold foil did all the hard work. As always – photographing foil is not my string point!
