Sunday night is when the new week starts for the CASEing the Catty challenge, and tonight the challenge focuses on pages 28-35, the Christmas Around the World section.
On the bottom left of page 30 I saw these super cute gift tags, the circle one stood out to me as I liked the idea of using second type of paper to peek through the star shaped cutouts.

I used the large circle scallop punch on some of the DSP (designer series paper) from the Merry Little Christmas pack, then punched out some mini stars and placed some cherry cobbler coloured card underneath to show through the cut outs. The tag base is basic black card cut with a 2.5″ circle punch.
The ‘Just for You’ sentiment comes from the (retired) Stampin’ Up! set Silhouette Sentiments. It is stamped on whisper white card in Cherry Cobbler ink, and then matted on Cherry Cobbler card.
The gift tag ties were a bargain score a few weeks ago from the Stampin’ Up clearance rack – bakers twine with Cherry Cobbler highlights through it.
Since the tags themselves are black, I have cut a circle of whisper white for the back of them so they can be written on.
