I have got a really fun card to share with you today, made with the new Gnome for the Holidays stamp set and the Emboss Resist Technique.

I started by stamping a few of the cute gnome images in Memento black ink and then coloured them with my Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. I fussy cut them out – they weren’t as fiddly as they looked really!
Starting work on my embossed background, I stamped the ‘dotty’ image from the Watermark stamp set in versamark ink all over my background piece (which is sized 10cm x 14.35cm) and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Using my Sponge brayer, and some of my blue shades of ink (Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy) I built up night sky background. I then layered on a strip of glimmer paper (now retired) and created a little gnome scene using my cut out pieces, before finishing it off my mounting it on a Real Red card base.
I made a video showing how I created this card – check it out below and if you have any questions leave me a comment!
