CTC277 – Case the Colours of the Flowers for Every Season DSP

Hi Everyone, and thanks for stopping by this evening for our weekly Caseing the Catty Blog hop. Each week we focus on a different area of the catalogue and take inspiration from it to create our own projects. This week it’s an extra special week – The Caseing The Catty weekly design challenge is celebrating it’s 6th Birthday!! There are even some current design team members that were there right back at the start – how amazing is that. Some are even hoping along with us tonight!

No photo description available.

I have kept my card really simple this week, and just cut a banner (using a brand new punch that will be available to purchase in the upcoming mini catalogue) in each of the 5 DSP colours (which also happen to be our 2020-2022 In Colours).

I added on an image that I coloured a while ago and had on my desk ready to go – the image is from the stamp set From All Of Us, as is the sentiment. The sentiment and card base are both cinnamon cider in colour. Due to having the image already coloured and cut out, this was one of the fastest cards I have made in ages!

If you ever get into a funk where you aren’t feeling creative or just not sure what to make, I highly suggest just stamping images and colouring them. Cut them out and have them ready to go so that when you do get back to feeling creative you have a whole stash ready to go!

I hope you like this card I have shared, it’s a good reminder that you can keep it simple and still create something fun! If you’d like to join us this week (and we would love to have you) just click below to visit our facebook page and upload a pic of your creation.

Next up tonight is Lauren, so click below to visit her blog and check our what she is sharing with us.
