Hello everyone, and thank you for stopping by this evening. We have another fabulous week this week for the Caseing The Catty Challenge, with a massive section of the catalogue available for inspiration!
This week we are focussing on the Everyday Occasions section of the catalogue, pages 12-71! There is so much in this section that I am sure there will be something that inspires.
For me, I couldn’t even get past the first page of the section, page 12 and the stunning Pretty Peacock card shown in the top left of the image above. I loved the frame look and decided to start there and run with it!
I started with a Seaside Spray base, and then embossed another layer of Seaside Spray using the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder. Using the stitched rectangle dies, I created a frame in Very Vanilla which I put over the top of another whisper white piece that I had sponged with seaside spray ink. I mounted all of this onto a rectangle of Smoky Slate.
To finish it off I stamped (in early espressos ink) and then cut out images from the Seaside Notions stamp set. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
I hope you like this week’s card and are inspired to join us during the challenge. Click the link below to go straight to our facebook page.
Next up tonight is Lauren, click below to check out what she has created, and then continue to hop around until you find yourself back where you started.

Such a pretty colour combination, Shannon – I especially like that you’ve used vanilla rather than white on this card. Love the way you’ve taken the frame elements from the inspiration card. Super cute sea creatures! 🙂 Siobhan.
