Hello and thanks for stopping by tonight. Sunday came around so fast for me this week, we have had a few family birthday celebrations, Tae Kwan Do gradings for the kids and the normal weekly chaos that is life in general!
But I did manage to get a card made to share with you. Tonight we are caseing the card on page 159 of the annual catalogue.

I loved this card as soon as I saw it, and I thought the colours looked a bit nautical, so I decided to go with my High Tide stamp set and create a lighthouse themed card.
I kept the colours similar, but made them more subtle to give a more ocean misty look (well that’s what I was going for in my head….you might need to use your imagination!).

I used a Seaside Spray card base, with a layer of Night of Navy. For my watercolour background I used my aqua painter to paint stripes of Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray and Purple Posey.
The light house is also in Seaside Spray, and the sentiment is from the Well Said stamp set.
I’d love to see what you come up with this week. Please join us by uploading a pic to our facebook page.
Next up this week is Lauren, click below to be taken to her fabulous project, and then keep hopping around till you get back to where you started.
Thanks for dropping past tonight, until next time – have a great week.
[…] back to another CASEing the CATTY. If you’re starting here or joining me from Shannon Kissane, WELCOME!! This week, we are CASEing all the same project from page 159 of the Annual Catalogue. […]

I can see mist!! Beautiful card Lauren, and I love the stitching all the way down both sides of your panel. Such a nice detail. I’m thinking it just MIGHT be time for a new adventure for me – one of CALMNESS ! Your card is telling me I should stamp more often!

I totally get the ocean misty look!! Love the colours you’ve chosen and your interpretation of the original. Such a pretty, soft card. I hope the making of it provided you with some much needed downtime after the crazy week.
