Good Afternoon, and thank you for stopping by. I am so excited to be part of the first ESAD blog hop for the brand new 2019-2020 catalogue! The ESAD group is a bunch of extra special Australian and New Zealand Stamping’ Up! demonstrators. Tonight we are sharing you with projects featuring some of the gorgeous new products available to purchase from June 4th.

I have a set of cards to share tonight, which are pretty simple to put together, but are so so pretty! They feature the absolutely gorgeous new DSP called Perennial Essence. This paper is full of impressionist imagery, and actually reminds me a bit of some of Monet’s paintings – it is truly beautiful.

For these cards, I used the largest rectangle stitched framelit to cut a DSP panel, and then added a layer of coordinating card as a mat onto a whisper white card base. The colours I used were Petal Pink, So Saffron, Blackberry Bliss and Bermuda Bay.
The sentiment is from a new stamp set called Free as a Bird and is heat embossed in gold. The flowers are also heat embossed in gold, but instead of being stamped onto cardstock, they have been stamped onto the new Perennial Essence Vellum cardstock. This vellum comes in a pack of 12 sheets (12″ x 12″), 4 of each of the colours Old Olive, Petal Pink and So Saffron. The flower is actually a 3 petal flower from the new stamp set Floral Essence. I stamped it twice and then punched it out with the coordinating Perennial Flower punch. This stamp set and punch can be purchased as a bundle (from 4th June) and save you 10%.
I used a bone folder to add a slight curl to the flower petals to give them a bit of dimension. To finish them off I added one of our new Perennial Essence Floral Centres. These are so cute – little fuzzy flower centre pieces.

Lachie’s Critique
Starting from today, I am adding a new (small) section on the bottom of my blog posts. My 5 year old son loves to craft with me, and is also brutally honest when it comes to telling me what he thinks of my work, hilariously so. So – I have decided (after asking him first) to share his opinions with you all – just for a bit of a laugh.

Next up on tonight’s hop is the wonderfully talented Libby Dyson. Click the link below to visit her page, and then continue to hop around to be inspired by everything that is soon to be available in the new catalogue!

I don’t think it matters if the flowers match, so long as they do have those fluffy things. Just kidding, I love the way you have used the dsp and also the different ways you have placed the sentiments.
