Hello and thank you for dropping in this evening. What a crazy week, so many public holidays I didn’t know if I was coming or going, but I did find some time for crafting!

This week we are CASEing a layout from the occasions catalogue. There was so much choice, but in the end I went with something that looked very clean and could be adaptable for all occasions. The card I am CASEing is the purple one below, with the layered squares.

I created three different cards that all follow the basic layout.

The first card I made uses the Sweetest Thing bundle to match the catalogue photo – did you know that this is on the retiring list? This suite is just gorgeous if you love your brights. It is so versatile – especially if you have kids or make invitations for events.

The second one I made is so very simple, and allows the beautiful All My Love Designer Series Paper to feature. I have embossed the sentiment in gold on a die cut circle.

The final butterfly card is my favourite. If you want to brighten your day, emboss a butterfly – honestly it is so beautiful watching a gold shiny butterfly come to life – makes me smile every time I do it. I have used a circle scallop of vellum behind the butterfly to make it stand out a little more. Again this card features the All My Love DSP.
