Today is exactly 1 year since I joined Stampin’ Up! Which means its about 1 year and 1 month since I started making cards 🙂 To celebrate I am playing along with this fortnight’s Colour Inkspiration challenge which happens to be featuring my favourite colour family – the ‘Brights’. I love the brightness of this family and, like all Stampin’ Up! colour families, the colours coordinate beautifully.
The Colour Inkspiration Challenge required you to use 3 colours from the Brights Colour family. I used Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green. Don’t forget that for the month of July you can get an entire family of ink pads (that’s 10 ink pads!) absolutely free. Ask me how or check our the current promo page.
The card is quite simple, and really lets the colours speak for themselves. The flowers and the sentiment are from the Tropical Chic stamp set. There is also a coordinating die set so you don’t need to do any fussy cutting 🙂
The card base is thick whisper white with a granny apple green layer added to the front.
