This week the CASEing the Catty Challenge was all about catalogue covers and hostess sets.
This was the perfect opportunity to make a set of cards I had been planning on CASEing anyway.
Update 30/10/2017 – this set of cards won me the CASEing the Catty Challenge this week!
This week I am CASEing the small square card shown in the top left of the image – and since my CASE is almost like for like exactly you should be able to pick it.
I used the following colours:
- Berry Burst
- Peekaboo Peach
- Tempting Turquoise
- Emerald Envy
- Lemon Lime Twist
For each of the colours I used either second or third generation stamping (this is where you stamp on scrap paper first and then stamp a second or third time) to get the exact colour I wanted. The outline stamp and the text are both done in basic black. All the stamps used are from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set
The envelopes are pre-made and can be bought from the Stampin’ Up Holiday catalogue – this saves making them! I stamped the outline flower image in each of the five colours to coordinate everything. I then made a very simple box with belly band to store them all in. Would make a cute gift don’t you think?
Simple and perfect!
