Before calling it a night, I logged on to check the Addicted to CAS challenge site to see what their latest challenge was – and I couldn’t resist.

The challenge this fortnight was ‘Favourite Stamp’ – what a great challenge. An opportunity to see everyone’s personality and likes come out. My current favourite stamp set is from Stampin’ Up! – and it is High Tide. You don’t need to go back far in my blog posts (like here and here) to find other cards I have made with it. I love it!

BUT – this is a clean and simple challenge, and most (all?) of the cards I have so far made with this set have involved lots of sponging and stamping and would probably be considered to busy for a CAS card.

So, instead of sponging a sunset scene, I just sponged a golden sun, and then stamped some silhouetted flying birds across it. I finished it with a simple but fitting sentiment from a different no-named set.
