This week I am playing along with the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge and the theme for this week is ‘Photo Inspiration’.

The photo we were given for inspiration is this one:

The background reminded me a bit of a doily like pattern, and obviously the butterflies stood out, so I combined a new doily stencil I recently received with some gorgeous butterflies that have been sitting my drawer waiting to be used.

I used a sponged brayer for the stencil part of the card, and then sponged the outside edges so they weren’t so white. I wanted to mount it on some lemon lime twist card to tie in with the colours I used for the stencil, but I didn’t have any. Instead I used a sponge brayer to go over and colour the entire card front.
