The New In-Colours

Hi Everyone – today I have a very special blog post for you, I am sharing with you the new 2020-2022 In-Colours and they are awesome! Whilst I am sad that we will lose 5 colours at the end of this catalogue, knowing that I will be able to replace them with these gorgeous colours consoles me just a bit!

The first thing I like to do with the new colours is to make a set of cards with them, same layouts, same designs, just different colours. It was made slightly harder this year as due to some delays caused by Covid-19 we were not able to pre-order the inks, markers, blends or ink refills in the new colours. But – where we have pretty paper and card stock, we have a way! To allow the new colours to shine I teamed them with a couple of neutrals; namely black and white. I have used the Silhouette Scenes stamp set – which I am so happy to say is carrying over into the next catalogue – as it is perfect for solid images. On a side note – whilst the stamp set and coordinating dies are carrying over they will not be available at the bundled discounted price in the new catalogue. So if you love them – why not buy the bundle now and save yourself 10%.

Back to the cards – they all use a single piece of the In-Colour DSP (I’ve featured both sides on these cards to minimise waste) and a bit of the card stock for mats. The sentiment comes from a new stamp set called Many Mates. This set is just sentiments – no images – and is a perfect addition to your stash. The sentiments cover all occasions – birthdays, get well, thanks etc etc. The sentiment banner has been created using a new punch we have – and I am predicting this punch will sell like hot cakes. It punches out two different end styles, also manages 3 different widths of banners. How awesome is that!

Which colour is your favourite? I think mine is the Magenta Madness or the Just Jade. Leave me a comment below and let me know what you think.
