Hi Everyone and thanks for dropping by today, I’ve got a masculine card to share with you, that makes the most of that every growing DSP stash you have.
But onto what I created 🙂 I started by looking through my pile of DSP to see what I had and I realised that although I loved the Tropical Oasis papers, I hadn’t used much of them at all. At the time of writing this you can still buy the Tropical Oasis DSP pack, but it is retiring so if you love it act fast.

Some of the papers in this pack are super bright and colourful, and other pieces have a more subtle tone, but still with pops of bright colour. The piece I chose to feature on my card was the one with palm trees and cars. I also used a small strip of a pool party coloured piece.

The stamp set I have used is A Good Man. I stamped in Memento black and then used blends to colour most of the image. For the childs top, I thought the real red blend was going to be way to bright, so instead I used a real red watercolour pencil and used a blender pen to smooth it out. This resulted in a much more mellow tone. Don’t be afraid to mix up your colouring mediums!

I think this card would make for a lovely masculine birthday card, or a Father’s Day card, what do you think?
