A very quick post today to share a card I made this weekend, called a Double Display Card. My friend Sharni made one recently, (you can see hers here) and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to try it.

I found some great instructions on a blog called Beccy’s Place, and she explains it perfectly, so if you are looking for measurements etc check out here post here.

For my card I have featured the Birthday Bonanza DSP and the stamp set Check You Out. Sadly both these products are retiring at the end of this current catalogue so if you like them, shop fast – they are now only available until stocks last.
Ive used a whisper white card base and added layers of Terracotta Tile card stock. To make this card you need to start with a piece of cardstock thats 12″ wide, and for this I only had regular whisper white – so the additional pieces of terracotta tile card stock give it some extra structure.

The finished card ends up being roughly 6″ x 4″, plus a bit of extra thickness deepening on layers and embellishment. To hold it nicely closed I made a belly band and stamped it using the stamp set Bonanza Buddies (also retiring shortly).

I hope you like this fancy fold card, honestly it is not as hard to make as it looks – a couple of cut lines, some score lined and the rest is in the decorating. Why don’t you give it a try and let me know how it turns out.
