Social Stamping – Thank You

My lovely friend Kelly Kent has organised a Blog Host as a way for people to creatively connect in this time of social distancing. This week the theme is ‘Thank You’ – quite fitting in this time as we are all helping each other out, whether by shopping for a neighbour, a quick phone call or text or sharing ideas to help keep our kids entertained and occupied for what could be a long few months!

I made the same card in two colours this week – mostly because I just couldn’t decide which colour DSP to use. Should I go bright and colourful, or bold and sharp? In the end I made both – I’ll leave it to you to decide which you like better.

I’ve used the Dino Days stamp set and coordinating dies, as well as the Stitched So Sweetly dies. If you are wondering how I got a stitched rectangle that exactly matches the scalloped rectangle, all I did was cut out a white scalloped rectangle and trimmed off the scallops – nothing fancy here!

The background DSP comes from the Bird Ballad DSP pack and also the SAB Golden Honey DSP (which was so popular it sold out!). The dinosaurs are stamped in Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock and I’ve used Mango Melody coloured card to tie everything together.

I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared today, click below to visit Nikki and the project she is sharing this afternoon, or if you want to see the full list of people participating today just click here.
