Hi Everyone, and welcome to a new challenge for CASEing the Catty!. This week we have a sketch challenge for you – we are CASEing the layout of the Koala card on page 34 of the mini catalogue, and shown in the image below.
I took the chance to top up my ‘cards for school friends’ stash which seems to be in constant demand at the moment…and school hasn’t even gone back for us yet (we go back tomorrow). I have kept this card very simple, and made it pretty gender neutral, so a good one to have on hand.

I used the stamps, dies and DSP all from the Dinoroar suite, which is on page 99 in the main annual catalogue. The only stamping I did was for the sentiment, the images were cut straight from the DSP. I love that we can do that for this suite!

For me, sketch layout challenges are some of the easier ones. I can keep the layout the same and just change out the elements. But remember – you don’t need to keep it exactly the same, you could flip the layout on its side if you liked.
Remember you have two weeks to get crafting and upload your entry to our facebook page. Click the link below to go straight there.
Next up on tonight’s hop is Rebecca, click below to see what she is sharing with us tonight.
[…] up is Shannon with her “rawr-some” card. Keep hopping around to see what all of the design team have […]

Oh, this is fab! I love this suite and I am totally going to CASE your CASE – my school friend stash needs some replenishing as well. I love the texture that the embossed panels give this. Great use of the sketch. 🙂 Siobhan.

Funny this DSP crossed my mind to use but I swapped it to something else. Love your fun colourful version!

Such a great bright, colourful, fun card. Love that you’ve kept it gender neutral and the embossing folder looks great on the rectangles.
