Hello everyone! And thank you for stopping by this evening – an extra special day here in Australia. Today we are celebrating Dads – so Happy Father’s Day to all those special Dads out there. I hope everyone has had a great day either celebrating their Dad, celebrating with their Dad, or remembering their Dad.

Tonight is the first CTC blog hop of the new Holiday Catalogue. This catalogue goes live to customers on the 4th, so remember to check back here on the 4th to download the PDF version if you don’t already have a hard copy. If you would rather a hard copy and you live in Australia, drop me a line and I will get one to you.

Tonight we are being inspired by the front cover of the new holiday catalogue…..partly because we are excited – and partly because that is the only image we are allowed to share from the new catalogue until it goes live! I was inspired by the card in the bottom right – the snowman on the green base.

I still have a lot of kids birthday parties to think about before I get cracking on Christmas cards, so I have used the ultra bright and fun Dinoroar suite to create this fun card.

I have kept the main layout elements the same as the original catalogue card, but to me it looks completely different! I’ve kept it bright and gender neutral so that we are covered for any party invite to come home! In case you are wondering the base is Mango Melody which is one of the DSP coordinating colours.

The main dinosaur and pterodactly are not stamped, they are images cut out from the DSP using the coordinating dies – clever hey! And don’t forget about all those half images on the edges of the paper, they are perfect for decorating the insides of cards.

We would love to have you join us this week, and celebrate the new catalogue, just click the link below.

Next up on tonight’s hop is the amazing Siobhan – everything she creates is stunning so definitely check out tonight’s project.
