Good morning and thanks for stopping by today. Just a quick post to share a card I made recently for my son’s 5th birthday.
It was a style I had never tried before but it was fun! I used papers from the Animal Expedition DSP Pack, both for the main background paper and also the animals – I just fussy cut them out.
The balloons are punched out in an assortment of paper scraps I had on my desk – including some glimmer paper as my son loves all things bling and sparkly!
The card itself is called a pop up slider card. There are lots of YouTube tutorials on how to make it. If you get stuck finding one in metric let me know and I’ll dig out my measurements.
It can sit up like a normal card….
Or you can pull the ribbon at the top to reveal the pop up, and then lie the card on its back to display.
The pop up slider part is essentially just the card front, so you still have all your normal amount of space inside to write your message.
I hope you like it – though the main thing is my son loved it!
