I have finally used my Shimmer Paint for the first time and I love it! Adds a real something special to the card. It’s not overly evident in the photos but trust me – it’s gorgeous.
I have CASEd this card straight from the Holiday Catalogue for this week’s CASEing the Catty design challenge. I’ve used a Cherry Cobbler card base and a piece of Festive Farmhouse DSP for the background.
On a piece of crumb cake card stock I have stamped the trees from the Winter Woods stamp set in early espresso. I then went through and filled in all the trunks with the shimmer paint in Frost White.
The sentiment is also from Winter Woods, and I have finished it off with a gold foil snowflake (retired) and some very vanilla bakers twine. A few pearls and it’s complete.
Very simple, all about the layers and a bit of shimmer 🙂
