I’m back! I have had a bit of time off recently, spending it with family who were visiting but I am back this week with a few new creations.

The first is a card I created with a mix of old and new products for the Just Add Ink challenge.

The layout came from the sketch that the challenge gave us, though I did flip it on it’s side.

The card base is in Shaded Spruce, a new colour for this year which perfectly matches the paper in the Tropical Escape DSP paper stack. I picked a piece with leaves as I thought it tied in well with the T-Rex.

The T-Rex and the sentiment come from the now retired ‘No Bones About It’ stamp set – this is a favourite set of my kids. Anything I make using this set automatically elevates me on the ‘awesome mum’ scale! I stamped the dino in Granny Apple Green and the sentiment in memento black ink. I fussy cut the image out and used dimensionals to pop it up on a stitched circle.

All in all a very simple and quick card to put together, and one that will be going in my stash to have on hand for the next birthday party 🙂
