Another week, another Addicted to Stamps and More! Challenge, and this time the challenge is ‘Clean and Simple’.

For a clean and simple card, there is generally no or minimal embellishments, one main focal point and plenty of ‘white space’ (where white space actually means empty space).

This week I decided to use a stamp that I haven’t actually used on a card yet. I got it a few weeks ago and I thought it was super cute, so I decided tonight was the night to give it a go.

I stamped the image in Momento black ink on blending paper and coloured it using alcohol markers. I fussy cut it out, leaving a small border and then stuck it to some blue card stock before also cutting around that to leave a similar sized border. It was just roughly cut by eye, I’m a bit of a lazy crafter – perfection is not my strong point!

I stuck the coloured image to an ivory coloured card base and stamped a simple sentiment across the top. I think this would make a cute birthday card for one of my boys to give to one of their friends.
