I needed to make a card for my brother-in-law and all my ideas required stamps I didn’t have….so I decided to make him one that would appeal to his kids!
I had seen lots of pinterest posts dedicated to punch art with the Stampin’ Up! Owl Builder punch (now retired), and there are lots of clever people who have created superhero owls. I like punch art so I decided to try a few superheroes and see how they came out.
I loved the result, and when I showed them to my 3.5 year old he confirmed that they were ‘pretty cool’. I downloaded some free Batman and Superman emblems and just printed them on card and coloured them in. That was about as hard as the project got.
Here is a close up of the four characters I made (if you aren’t familiar with super heroes they are Superman and Captain America up the top, and Spiderman and Batman down the bottom. The capes were just a random shape I cut out.
And here they are on the finished product, each were mounted on dimensionals onto a piece of coloured card measuring 1 7/8″ square, and a piece of white card measuring 2″ square. All four were mounted onto a piece of red card measuring 4.5″ square, and the final card is 5″ square.
Hope you like this project
