CTC293 – Case a card from p36

Hi everyone, and welcome to this weeks Caseing the Catty challenge. What a weekend it has been for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators all over the world, as we attended our Annual OnStage event, where we get together and stamp, create, share and get sneak peaks at new products that will be available in January! It was run a little differently this year due to travel restrictions – it was virtual! So we could all participate from the comfort of our own homes.

Here are a few of the cards I made while the even was running as part of our ‘Stamp n Share’

My project tonight uses some of these new products as I couldn’t resist trying them out. We are caseing cards from page 36 of the August-December Mini Catalogue, shown in the image below. I have CASEd the card in the centre that has the banner panel.

All of my cards have a DSP base, with the DSP coming from a new pack called Dandy Garden. The colours in these papers are just stunning, the right mix of neutral plus pops of colour. The image stamped on the panel is from a coordinating stamp set called Dragonfly Garden. I stamped each in ink that matched the panel colour itself, and then stamped again in versamark and heat embossed it with clear powder. This gives it is really nice amount of shine. The stamparatus ensures I can keep everything lined up.

The dragonflies are punched straight from the DSP used the Dragonflies punch. I love punches, and punches that can punch DSP are even better. So quick and easy!

I hope you have enjoyed a small sneak peak into what is coming our way in January, let me know what you think.
