CTC256 – Annual Catalogue with Holiday Twist

Hi everyone, and thank you for stopping past today. We have some great projects to share tonight, being inspired by a layout in the annual catalogue.

The card I have chosen in on page 64 of the Annual Catalogue, and is shown above. I liked the simplicity of the layout, and also the fact that it used DSP – which limits the amount of DSP I end up hoarding!

I ended up making 6 cards this week, because I was a bit indecisive about which papers to use and what colours to feature (It definitely wasn’t because I am a bit behind in my Christmas card making…..). They all use the snowflake stamp from the Snowman Season Stamp set as the background image, likewise the sentiment is from this same set, I really love this font.

For three of the cards I used snowmen from the Snowman Season stamp Set, punched out with the coordinating punch, and then embellished with the Let it Snow embellishment kit.

For the remaining three cards I used deer cut with the Detailed Deer thinlets, cut out in either gold or copper foil.

I hope you are inspired by the projects we are sharing tonight, and please do keep on hopping around until you are back where you started. Don’t forget to upload a snap of your project to our facebook group – click the link below.

Next up on tonights hop is the uber talented Tina, check out what she has to share by clicking below.

  2. Are you trying to say there is something WRONG with hoarding DSP??? I guess if you did want to actually use the pretty paper and not just enjoy it sitting around in its packet then this is a great way to use some up. I regret not getting that snowman, he’s so cute, and that’s a great sentiment from that set. These are all great but my favourite one is the green plaid with the deer. Such a great combo. 🙂 Siobhan.
