This week we are back in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, and try as I might I have not been able to resist those butterflies! Tonight I have CASEd the pink card shown in the image below, the one with the wooden butterfly outline.

I have created my card with a Highland Heather card base, and added strips in this same colour directly onto the card base. This just gives a bit of texture and interest.

The wooden butterfly is a freebie in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, it comes in a pack of wooden elements that are all butterflies and leaves. I love adding wooden embellishments to cards, particularly cards that feature animals and nature.

I’ve used the butterfly gala bundle to stamp a small butterfly (and punch it out) and also to stamp the sentiment. For both of these I have used the colour Pool Party. I finished it off with some white ribbon that I coloured using my blends (also in Pool Party).

That’s it from me this week, please continue on with the hop and visit the lovely Elizabeth. She is showcasing another way to use these wooden elements. Catch you next time x
