Welcome to the first ESAD Blog Hop of 2019! Today we are all about the brand new 2019 Occasions Catalogue, and also celebrating Sale-A-Bration.

Sale-A-Bration runs until the end of March 2019, and it coincides with the launch of the new Occasions Catalogue. Basically, if you spend more than $90 AUD you can pick something for free from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. This is in addition to any other rewards you might qualify for.

My card today is actually a really simple one, it is using a couple of new products from the Occasions catalogue, but it features 5 different coloured ribbons that I got absolutely free! Its very quick to put together, I have stamped the sentiment in Grapefruit Grove down the bottom of the card. I love the font of this sentiment, it’s from the new stamp set called Incredible Like You. This set actually coorindates with one of our kits. If you bought this stamp set, the card kit and then stocked up one some basics like whisper white card stock, you can then pick any free item from Sale-A-Bration that you like.

Which brings me to this ribbon – all 5 of these colours come as a combo pack, and are FREE! The colours are Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue and Grapefruit Grove. It’s organdy ribbon which gives it a delicate look but it’s very easy to work with.

I have stuck a strip of each colour across the white card front, and then tied a smaller piece of each colour around the strip. No fancy bow tieing here 🙂 Finally I stuck the card front to a thick whisper white card base, and finished it with a few of the (new) Gingham Gala adhesive backed sequins.

This card design is so simple, yet also assists with your ribbon hoarding addiction….I know you have one – #UseYourRibbon!
