I got out my coloured markers this afternoon and set about creating a set of note cards. Note cards are handy to have on hand for both wrapped gifts and gift bags.
I made these cards using the ‘Nice and Easy Notes’ stamp set from Stampin Up. It’s a retired set, I’m not sure what year it is from, but it is pretty versatile and great if you like colouring.
I stamped the images onto blending card stock (good for when you are colouring with alcohol markers), coloured them in and glued them to a mat of Dapper Denim cardstock. The cards themselves are made from Whisper White cardstock, cut to 6″ x 3″ and scored at 3″ to make a 3″ x 3″ card front. The patterned paper is actually envelope paper in the same Dapper Denim colour. The images were attached to the cards using dimensional to pop them up a bit.
I’m not sure what I will do with this little set, but maybe I’ll make a little box for them and use them as a ‘sump’ for someone down the line. A ‘sump’ – for those of you not related to the Kissane family – is a small gift, just a little ‘something’. Would you like to receive a set of note cards as a sump?
